Bam Margera (born Brandon Cole Margera on September 28, 1979 in West Chester, Pennsylvania) is an American professional skateboarder, stunt performer and television personality. While attending East High School, Bam met Chris Raab and Ryan Dunn, two friends that would be part of his stunt and skateboarding clique, Camp Kill Yourself. After releasing a series of successful videos, Bam connected with Johnny Knoxville and Jeff Tremaine, recruiting the CKY crew to form Jackass. Bam’s star rose with Jackass’s television show and movie, and after Jackass, he was given his own show, Viva La Bam. After Viva La Bam ended in 2005, Bam filmed Bam’s Unholy Union, featuring him and his then fiancée Melissa Rothstein. In 2003, Bam wrote and directed Haggard, an independent film based on Ryan Dunn’s life. In 2004, he hosted a weekly Sirius radio show and in 2005, Bam started up a record label, Filthy Note Records. In 2015, Bam announced he was working on an autobiographical documentary entitled I Need Tim To Stay Useless. The film deals with Bam following the 2011 death of Ryan.

Bam was engaged to Jenn Rivell up until 2005. In 2006, he filed for a Protection From Abuse order after Jenn allegedly broke into his house. In 2007, he and Melissa Rothstein were married, but they divorced in 2012. In 2013, he wed Nicole Boyd in Reykajavik, Iceland. In 2010, Bam was hospitalized after he was allegedly attacked by Elizabeth Ray with a baseball bat. Ray claims she didn’t attack Bam but he used a racial slur against her. Bam denies using the n-word, but claims she did attack him. Despite Bam’s stunt history, he is deathly afraid of snakes.
